GREAT three-minute TED Talk. Makes you wish more like him were in the classroom, and—maybe—makes those who already are, realize the power and passion they could have.
It was a damn productive week, and I owe a lot of my motivation to music and podcasts. Just getting my feet wet with Last.fm (been a member for 12 days now), but I’ve already racked up 3618 (and counting as I write) plays…which—while I do work long days—I find an impossibility since I don’t listen 24 hours a day. The math:
[(3618 plays x 3.5 mins per avg song)/60 mins per hr]/24hrs in a day
= 8.79 days of 24/7 listening, or
= 17.6 days of 12-hour listening.
Loose play count aside, the top tracks are pretty representative of my current listenin’ tastes: Indie, Blues, and NPR.
I’ll talk about my podcast preferences in a later post when I feel like talking about their small-business benefits more. However, for now, I’ll keep this post superficial ; ).
